back I look at people met
on this earth
they came and went for a reason
every turn of a season
they
came to love me
came to hurt me
came to betray me
came to calm me
were nice, some were not
were hot, straight out of the pot
were spiritual, some built bridges
were friends, bringing peace
but this I know from thinking clearly
people are teachers dearly
they show me the way between good and bad
so I can live a life without being sad
