Many times, all you have to do is make small daily incremental changes in your life. These small changes can be anything in your life: physical, social, mental, or business. Yet, more often than not, making massive changes hoping it will somehow move you closer to a goal instead leads to a paralysis that suffocates your mind to a point where you consider if doing things of an important nature is worth it.
I am reminded of Leo Tolstoy, who said “TRUE LIFE IS LIVED WHEN TINY CHANGES OCCUR”
Accurate, but smaller, is simplistically true. You will readily achieve more, successfully heading toward the goals you desire. The maxim ‘baby steps’ is apt in most situations. If you have children, you will know what I mean.
Everyday day is an opportunity to make smaller, yet accurate changes. One reason for the disastrous attitude of ‘large changes NOW’ is the way companies market things to people. Many products advertised, especially in health and fitness, are sold as having instant results. The abject failure of many people who have fallen into this asinine fatuity is clear. You can see it everywhere.
YOU NEED TO DECIDE WHERE YOU WANT TO MAKE THOSE SMALL CHANGES THAT WILL BRING YOU THE BIGGEST SUCCESS.
Taking action is the key. If you make small, incremental changes daily, in one month you would have made big changes that can have an extraordinary motivation on you. Every day is an opportunity to make that small change.
Start.
