the jungle is a big place
full of creatures, big and small
some are timid, some are fierce
some will never answer the call
kings hunt for others
with colours as their covers
stalking the vulnerable with
a great measure of pleasure
the jungle has an attraction indeed
for
the kings that want to eat
attacking with ferocious zeal
eating
all creatures as their meal
the jungle you see has a law
nothing like you ever saw
eat or be eaten is the saying
get what you can before leaving
but the jungle has another law
nothing like you ever saw
the law of nature you see
tide turns on the kings with glee
